Shock, Tilt, Moisture and Temperature Indicators
Today´s "Just-In-Time" zero defect delivery requirements demand shipping control to ensure that handling and transportation is performed accordingly.

Using indicators that instantly react on rough handling or environmental circumstances considerably reduces mishandling. Just the presence of the indicating labels makes people aware and observant that handling should be performed properly.
Shock Indicators
Shock indicators are used to prevent damage because of rough handling. They are available in different sensitivities depending on the size, the weight and on the sensitivity of the product.
If a shock occurs with an impact that is worse than the activating level of the Shock indicator the indicator will be activated. Most of the indicators are irreversible.
Tilt Indicators
Tilt indicators prevent tilting of the packaging.
If tilting occurs, the indicator is activated and this is irreversible.
An adapted label prevents the Tilt indicator to be removed or replaced.
Moisture Indicators
Moisture indicators give an indication of the % relative humidity inside a packaging during transport or storage. Moisture indicators come in a reversible and irreversible version and are mostly combined with desiccants (silica gel, activated clay)
Temperature Indicators
Temperature indicators indicate the maximum or minimum temperature to which a product has been exposed. Depending on the product sensibility, one wants to monitor the exceeding of a minimum or maximum temperature.
Stretch Film
Product shipments will have protection from damage since packages are kept together and no dust or dirt will get in.
The transparency allows for visual inspection and can in some cases speed up handling. Stretch film is an easy and simple solution that allows for either manually wrapping of the film around the packaging or simply using a machine.
There is a wide range of films with different thicknesses, widths and features (press-stretch and power-stretch). Brightpack can provide ESD treated films, VCI stretch films as well more tear and stress resistant solutions.
